- Cole Cooksey (Scarborough, ON) led Toronto with a hat trick.
- Anthony Giacalone (Whitby, ON) added a pair of goals for the Patriots.
- Noah Kohan (Hanmer, ON), Briir Long (Astorville, ON) and Lincoln Moore (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) replied for Sudbury.
Canmore Eagles 3, Rockland Nationals 2 (OT)
- John Szabo (Lethbridge, AB) won it 1:03 into overtime for Canmore; he also added an assist.
- Will Lutic (St. Albert, AB) and Owen Mastroianni (Golden, BC) also scored.
- Ryder Dembo (Calgary, AB) registered two assists.
- Gabriel Le Houillier (Lorraine, QC) scored both goals for Rockland.
Niverville Nighthawks 5, Summerside Western Capitals 4 (OT)
- Marlen Edwards (Winnipeg, MB) scored his second goal 14 seconds into overtime; he also added an assist.
- Adam Vigfusson (Gimli, MB) had a goal and an assist for Niverville.
- Brett Arsenault (Charlottetown, PE) led the host Western Capitals with three assists.

They got a power play and capitalized and like we have done a lot this year, we hung on and were able to capitalize on our power play [in overtime].”

“I was just reading off the eyes and what they were doing from the start of the game. They like to swing through the middle and I was looking to take the middle away, which is a key part of it all. I got a step in the middle, tossed it on net and it found its way in. Getting the win is a huge confidence builder and everyone will be ready for our future games.”

Ils ont un style étouffant, et c’est le genre de match auquel je m’attendais. Même à 2-0, je sentais qu’ils continueraient de jouer de la même façon, ce qu’ils ont fait. Ils ont profité d’un jeu de puissance pour compter, et comme on l’a fait souvent cette année, on s’est accrochés et on a su tirer profit d’un avantage numérique nous aussi [en prolongation]. »
