Timberwolves’ Foston commits to RMC Paladins

The Miramichi Timberwolves have announced that forward Cole Foston has committed to the Royal Military College Paladins for 2024-25.

The 20-year-old from Beaver Bank, N.S. was selected in the 4th Round, 71st overall, by the Yarmouth Mariners in the 2019 MHL Entry Draft. Foston spent over two seasons in the QMJHL from 2019-20 to 2021-22 with the Halifax Mooseheads and Saint John Sea Dogs where he had three goals and six assists in 48 games played.

After joining the Mariners in late November of the 2021-22 season, Foston tallied five goals and seven assists in eighteen games in the regular season followed by one goal in five playoff games.

He was traded to Campbellton in October 2022 and then moved to Valley in late November. Foston finished the 2022-23 season with fourteen goals and ten assists in 31 games. In the Metalfab MHL Cup Playoffs, Foston had three goals and two assists in six games for the Wildcats.

Foston started the 2023-24 season in Valley and had six goals and seven assists in twelve games before being traded to Miramichi in late November. With one week left in the regular season, Foston has ten goals and twelve assists in 25 games with the Timberwolves. He has been named to the Eastlink North Team of the Week once this season.
