The Truro Junior “A” Bearcats are pleased to join forces with the Dragon Boat Team SOS, a Division of the Canadian Cancer Society, for an important cause.
The Bearcats will be wearing their pink game sweaters in the home games scheduled for November 8th against the Valley Wildcats and November 9th versus the South Shore Lumberjacks. The sweaters will be auctioned off, with all proceeds going to support breast cancer research. Bids will be accepted on each player’s jersey starting at $50, with further bids in $10 increments.
To register for the auction, please send your name, cell number, and your jersey choice (name or number) to fuzzy@eastlink.ca. Check the Bearcats Facebook page or website for updated bids. All bids must be texted to 902-986-8287. Bidding will close November 9th at 10:00 pm. Successful bidders will be announced at the November 15th game against the Miramichi Timberwolves.
