Boudreau commits to Université de Moncton

The Université de Moncton has announced that Amherst Ramblers forward Max Boudreau has signed a letter of intent to join the Aigles Bleus program for the 2021-22 season.

The 20-year-old from Cap-Pele, N.B. was drafted by Amherst in the 7th round, 98th overall, in the 2017 MHL Entry Draft. Boudreau joined the club for the 2018-19 season, scoring four goals to go with five assists in 46 games. During the 2019 Canadian Tire Cup Playoffs, he scored once in six games.

Boudreau finished third in team scoring in 2019-20 with 60 points in 52 games. His 22 goals were fourth on the team, while his 38 assists were second-most for Amherst. His eight powerplay goals were also good enough for second on the Ramblers.

Through 23 games in 2020-21, Boudreau has 13 goals and 16 assists in 23 games.

The MHL congratulates Boudreau on his Junior A career and post-secondary commitment.
