EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick (May 13, 2021)– Andrew Bruder, who played his last junior games with the Edmundston Blizzard in the Maritime Hockey League, will continue his university career with Western University, in London, Ontario, an establishment located 35 minutes from the 20-year-old hockey player’s hometown of Woodstock, Ontario.
Bruder has appeared in the last seven games of the Blizzard season, recording four goals and two assists. He scored three goals on March 13 at the Jean-Daigle Centre in a 6-3 loss to the Campbellton Tigers.
The forward was acquired by the Blizzard on January 29, 2021 from the Trenton Golden Hawks, an Ontario Junior Hockey League (OHL) team that ultimately did not play a game this season due to COVID-19. In his career in the OHL with the Niagara IceDogs, he tallied 16 goals and 31 assists in 151 games. The Blizzard congratulates Andrew Bruder on his successful junior career and wishes

Andrew Bruder s’entend avec la Western University
EDMUNDSTON, Nouveau-Brunswick (13 mai 2021) – Andrew Bruder, qui a joué ses dernières parties junior avec le Blizzard d’Edmundston dans la Ligue de hockey des Maritimes, poursuivra sa carrière universitaire avec la Western University, à London, Ontario, établissement situé à 35 minutes de la ville de Woodstock (Ontario) d’où est originaire le hockeyeur de 20 ans.
Bruder a pris part aux sept dernières rencontres de la saison du Blizzard, récoltant quatre buts et deux passes. Il a réussi trois buts, le 13 mars au centre Jean-Daigle, dans un revers de 6 à 3 aux mains des Tigres de Campbellton.
Le Blizzard avait acquis Bruder, le 29 janvier 2021, des Golden Hawks de Trenton, une formation de la Ligue de hockey junior de l’Ontario (OHL) qui n’a finalement disputé aucune partie cette saison en raison de la COVID-19. En carrière dans la OHL, avec les IceDogs de Niagara, il a accumulé 16 buts et 31 passes en 151 matchs. Le Blizzard félicite Andrew Bruder pour sa belle carrière junior et lui souhaite le meilleur des succès dans les rangs universitaires.
