Logan Johnston will play for the Dalhousie Tigers
EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – Edmundston Blizzard’s organization is proud to announce that the team’s top scorer of the two past season, Logan Johnston, will join the Dalhousie Tigers of the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) League next season.
Last season, Johnston finished in fourth place among the scoring leaders of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League (MHL) with 71 points (27g, 44a) in 48 games, six points better than in 2017-18.
Former Blizzard captain will be studying in the Arts Program at Dalhousie University.
“I am very excited to be able to continue to play hockey at the next level with the DAL Tigers in Halifax”, said former Blizzard #19. It will give me an opportunity to not only get a high level of education but also further my hockey development. I am very excited for this next chapter! ”
At the last Blizzard Player Awards Ceremony held last March, Johnston was chosen by his teammates as the team’s most valuable player.

Logan Johnston s’alignera avec les Tigers de la Dalhousie University
EDMUNDSTON, Nouveau-Brunswick – La direction du Blizzard vient d’apprendre que son meilleur pointeur des deux dernières saisons, Logan Johnston, endossera l’uniforme des Tigers de la Dalhousie University de la ligue du Sport universitaire de l’Atlantique (SUA) la saison prochaine.
Johnston a terminé la dernière saison dans la Ligue de hockey junior A des Maritimes (LHM) au quatrième rang des pointeurs avec une récolte de 71 points (27b, 44p) en 48 parties, six points de mieux qu’en 2017-2018.
L’ancien capitaine du Blizzard est inscrit dans l’une des disciplines des arts de la Dalhousie University.
« J’ai très hâte de pouvoir continuer à jouer au hockey à un autre niveau avec les Tigers, à Halifax, a mentionné l’ancien numéro 19 du Blizzard. J’aurai ainsi la chance de pouvoir faire des études tout en poursuivant mon développement au hockey. Je suis très excité à l’idée de commencer le prochain chapitre de ma carrière ».
Lors du dernier gala des mérites des joueurs du Blizzard tenu en mars dernier, Johnston avait été choisi par ses coéquipiers comme le joueur le plus utile de l’équipe.
