The Yarmouth Mariners have announced that captain Keefe Marshall has committed to the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) for next season.

Marshall, from Cornwall, P.E.I., joined the Mariners during the 2022-23 season and had three goals and eleven assists in 48 games. He added two goals and one assist in twelve playoff games in helping Yarmouth capture the Metalfab MHL Cup. He finished third in team scoring in 2023-24 with eighteen goals and 22 assists for 40 points in 49 games. Marshall also had two goals in five playoff games.

He again finished third in team scoring in 2024-25 with 56 points in 52 games. Marshall also posted career highs with 22 goals and 34 assists. He was named to the Eastlink South Team of the Week twice.

“We are super excited to announce that Keefe Marshall will be attending SAIT this fall and playing hockey,” says Yarmouth Head Coach and General Manager Laurie Barron. “Keefe was a great captain and had three great seasons with our club. He’s a great hockey player, but a better person. SAIT got a good one.”

The MHL congratulates Marshall on his post-secondary commitment.
