The Summerside Western Capitals have announced that forward Alexandre Guy has committed to Ontario Tech University for the 2026-27 season.
The 20-year-old from Blainville, Quebec joined the Western Capitals for the 2025-26 season after playing 194 games across just over three seasons in the QMJHL with Val-d’Or and Cape Breton. Guy finished fifth on the team in scoring with 41 points in 50 games, tallying 22 goals and nineteen assists. He was named to the Eastlink South Team of the Week on one occasion.
During the Metalfab MHL Cup Playoffs, Guy had three goals and one assist for Summerside in fourteen games. The Western Capitals hosted the Centennial Cup, where Guy scored four goals en route to a national silver medal.
